Big Cottonwood Canyon Utah Engagement
I was so excited when Ellen and Perry said they wanted to take their engagement photos in Utah – aka one of my favorite states to travel to! We made a plan to take their engagement photos at Big Cottonwood Canyon in Utah in early April knowing that there might be snow – and there was!
The drive back to my hotel after the session was SO breathtaking. The golden glow on the mountains as we drove back down the canyons was so beautiful. Utah is one of my favorite places to travel to because it has so much to offer: canyons, mountains, lakes, rivers, salt flats, desert, lots of beautiful national parks, and so much more!
After taking engagement photos for Ellen and Perry I became even more excited to photograph their upcoming intimate wedding that will be in June 2023! These two are prime examples of why I love what I do. I get to spend time with the most kind-hearted, easy going, people who know how to make people laugh and feel loved.
After their engagement session I traveled around the state showing more of the beauty of Utah to my husband Josh and two of our friends: Shelby and Hannah.
We spent a little bit of time in Salt Lake City, Utah, then went to the Salt Flats, and then eventually traveled to my all time favorite city….. Moab, Utah. Throughout Utah and Moab, I photographed a few more sessions and elopements such as:
