I'm Abi — a wedding and elopement photographer based in the Twin Cities, serving couples across Minnesota and traveling for destination work all over the globe (4 countries and counting).
I've photographed over 100 weddings and elopements at this point, which means I've gotten really good at spotting the small moments most people miss — the look right before the vows, the squeeze of a hand, the deep breath before walking down the aisle.
My couples tend to be:

Weddings: 8-10 weeks. Sessions: 4-6 weeks. Professionally hand edited by me (NOT AI because what the actual –––– you're not paying thousands for AI to edit your photos) and delivered through an online gallery that you can share with friends / family and print directly through your online gallery. You also receive a print release so you *can* print through Walgreens but I don't recommend it.
No. 5 You get you photos and possibly cry again
I show up, we have fun, all 3 of us shed tears during your vows, I capture moments you don't even know are happening, and I'll sneak one of those cupcakes from the dessert table. I'll be capturing every little detail and moment throughout your day in a way that feels true to you.
No. 4 wedding day!
If you’ve added engagement photos to your package, this is our chance to meet in person, hang out, and help you feel comfortable in front of the camera before your wedding day! I’ll also send over my AJP Wedding Guide to help with everything from planning your engagement session to your wedding day.
No. 3 Engagement photos
Contract signed, retainer paid, your date is locked in. No date is held on vibes alone, unfortunately — (digital) paperwork it is. A 30% non-refundable down-payment is required and then we start celebrating because you just tied the knot with me!!
No. 2 We make it official
Get in touch with me here! Tell me your date, your location, and whatever's in your head about your vision — even if that vision is currently just "vibes." You'll hear back from an actual human (me) within 2 business days.

A. I have a super easy online invoicing process that alerts you when a payment is due. For weddings / elopements the non-refundable retainer is 30% of your package and is due within one week of signing your contract in order to book your date, 50% for portrait sessions. The remaining balance is due one month before your wedding date, or one week before session date. This can be split up more for no additional charges if communicated up front!
Q. WHAT IS THE PAYMENT PROCESS/DOWN DEPOSIT?
A. I am SO glad you asked - YES. I get it. I have spent a lot of time crafting my skill of making you feel comfortable and at home in front of the camera. So no more asking, "what do I do with my hands!?"
Q. DO YOU HELP WITH POSING? I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO WITH MY HANDS!
A. I love this question because I love helping you pick your outfits once we've set a location + style! The answer is different every time I help, but a few suggestions would be: clothes that make you comfortable + feel like you. One comfy/casual outfit, one dressier/more creative outfit.
Q. WHAT SHOULD WE WEAR TO OUR ENGAGEMENT SESSION?
A. After booking, I would be happy to make a timeline with you, but on average I would say about 2.5 hours are needed for formal photos. We keep 1 hour for couple portraits, 1 hour for wedding party, and .5 for family. There is a good amount of buffer time in here, and couple portraits are often segmented into different parts of the day and not all at once.
Q. HOW MUCH TIME DO WE NEED FOR FORMAL PHOTOS ON our WEDDING DAY?
A. I will deliver your wedding photos through an online album within 10-12 weeks. Through this online album you will be able to download, share, and order prints. You also will have the right to print the photos on your own. Amount of images delivered is dependent on the wedding and how many hours hired for. For weddings and elopements you will receive sneak peeks within 1 week!
Q. WHEN/HOW DO WE RECEIVE OUR PHOTOS?
A. No. As your photographer I professionally choose the photos that highlight you + your special day + tell your story.
