I flew from the Minneapolis Airport to Utah to meet up with Holly and Braedon who drove 7 hours from Idaho to Moab, Utah to take Dead Horse State Park couples photos!
Holly and I met years and years ago and I have always loved how easy it feels to be myself around her. This was my first time meeting her husband Braedon and I could tell that there fun and quirky personalities were a perfect match for each other!
Neither of us had been to Dead Horse State Park before this, but I had spent a lot of time researching before hand what to expect and the perfect spot to take photos where there wouldn’t be a lot of tourists.
One thing we couldn’t control – the weather. There were extremely high winds that day and on and off rain on the drive to Dead Horse State Park. The dark clouds added a dramatic effect to their photoshoot but nonetheless it didn’t stop us and we had fun with extremely high winds.
I created a customized travel guide for their trip to Moab, Utah (I also have a FREE Mini Moab, Utah Travel Guide that you can grab!) which helped them plan their trip and time for their photos!
After spending a little bit of time exploring Dead Horse State Park, we both went to explore Canyonlands National Park which was also super close with similar views of desert landscape around the Colorado River.
