Christine and Jeremy got married at the Gibson Social Club in Oshkosh, Wisconsin on a hot summer day. They snuck away after the ceremony to cool off with some Culver’s custard and cheese curds (aka the best way to spend your wedding day!).
Christine and Jeremy met in college through some mutual friends. Some of their favorite memories together have been through their adventures. Including a 16 hour road-trip out to Colorado where they spent time at an Airbnb in the mountains and adventured around the beautiful state. And their relaxing trip up the north shore of Superior near Grand Marais. But at the end of the day, there’s no place they would rather be than snuggled up on the couch at home with their pets, some ice cream, and a good movie.
When I asked them what their favorite thing was about each other, I knew right away that they were meant for one another. Here are their answers:
Christine: “Jeremy is always making me laugh! He keeps me on my toes with how goofy he is and always knows how to cheer me up. He is also so caring, considerate and loving. Like waking up early on some mornings and making a delicious breakfast, so that I can sleep in and relax”
Jeremy: “EVERYTHING. Life is just better with her, even doing simple things like going grocery shopping and still having fun because it’s with my best friend. I also love raising our little family with her and envisioning what it will look like when we have kids”
When we hopped on a consult call to see if we were a good fit – Christine and I showed up wearing a green turtleneck sweater and got distracted talking about how much we had in common (we both love adventures but also love sitting at home curled up watching our favorite TV shows or movies).
Their wedding day was filled with lots of love from friends, family, and every wedding vendor. Everyone I talked to there agreed that their lives were better with Christine and Jeremy in it. It was also filled with lots of happy tears. After Christine got into her dress, I snuck into the room with her and we both started tearing up. There were happy tears with the first look with the bridesmaids. The first look and private vows between the two of them. At their ceremony. Speeches. The whole day.
There was also a lot of laughter. Especially after Christine accidentally dropped her phone off a bridge and into the lake during bridal portraits.
At the end of the day we were on the dance floor celebrating their marriage.
Christine + Jeremy – thank you so much for having me a part of your beautiful day!
